Information gathered to help inform the public on what could be done in the event a disaster arises and its' aftermath. Being prepared is the best and first step to take for survival.
Each individual has the ability to prevent violence on campus through recognizing and reporting a potential threat.
What would you do if a shooting happened in your own school or workplace? It is a scary thought, but it is something that could happen to anybody. Having some ideas about how to respond beforehand could save your life.
The majority of school shooters are young, white, non-urban males and have been victims of bullying, assault, or intimidation.
The idea that school shooters are always trying to "get even" with people that have bullied them is not accurate.
Most school shooters told at least one other student about their plans for the attack before they acted.
