Student Anti-Bully Teams
Here at SCES, we've decided to come together, stand up for what's right, & not only talk the talk but walk the walk on preventing bullying in our school. Our Anti-bully Leadership Team consists of 4th & 5th Graders who voluntarily sign up to be on our ONEVoice Team! Now this is what we call being Proactive!!! They choose to be involved in helping their school, to to spread the word on bully education to the community, and they take a stand against bullying becuase they want to make a difference. This team is the BEST of the BEST! We have a different theme each year that represents just that!
Each year officers will be chosen within the new group by electon. Each potential candidate will prepare a speech to present to the group the position they seek. A voting list will be made and the team will then vote.
There are rules that must be followed:
-
Members will be dismissed for bullying referrals & suspensions after a warning & bully education.
-
Teachers will be visited to assure good grades. Students with good grades will be excused for classes to perform anti-bully activities. So keep your grades up
-
Problems that may arrise within the group will be addressed promptly within the group
-
There may possibly be meetings after school however, not without parental permission.
-
All members will have their picture taken numerous times throughout the year and will be shown on Facebook, school website, newspaper, & hall walls. Please make sure your parents signed the release forms.
-
All members will be required to have a ONEVoice T-Shirt. Prices may vary year to year.
